Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit (IIU) is investigating an officer-involved shooting of an adult male.
On Friday October 18, 2019, officers were called to a home in the 300 block of Riverton Avenue for a domestic incident.
When officers arrived they found a dead adult female. An adult male was also in the residence and he quickly got into a confrontation with police. During that
Paramedics transported the man to hospital.
Police are treating the discovery of the deceased as a homicide.
