A shooting in the north end of Winnipeg overnight has resulted in the death of 35-year-old Kenneth Wood.
Police say that just after 1:30 am on Thursday, July 12, 2018, they responded with other emergency crews to a report of a man shot near Flora Avenue and McKenzie Street

Officers found the victim and he was taken to hospital in critical condition. He died shortly afterwards.
Homicide investigators are asking for help from anyone who may have had contact with Wood or know where he was before he was shot.
