Winnipeg Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a St. Theresa Point Point First Nation man after he was found injured on the street in Downtown Winnipeg.
Police say that officers responded to the area of Maryland Street and Wellington Avenue around 11:20 pm on Sunday, February 25, 2024. When they arrived they found 26-year-old Kevin Delaney Flett with injuries and provided immediate emergency medical care. Flett was taken to hospital in critical condition but did not survive his injuries.
An autopsy has been schedule.
The investigation continues.
