Winnipeg Police Service homicide unit are investigating two unrelated deaths early Tuesday morning, November 21, 2023.

According to investigators a 20-year-old female was located with serious injuries in the 400 block of Burrows Avenue around 1:45 am. She was taken to hospital in critical condition but died from her injuries.

Around 4: 50 am officers responded to a multi-tenant residence in the 100 block of Selkirk Avenue for the report of a suspicious death. Paramedics were already on scene when police arrived along with a deceased male.
