A week after allegedly killing her mother 18-year-old Hailey Summer Barker has been arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.
On May 28, 2018, police and medical crews responded to reports of an injured female at a home in the 100 block of Beaumont Bay.
When officers arrived they found the female had been stabbed. 36-year-old Christine Lynnette Barker was taken to hospital in critical condition but later died.
Police suspected her daughter in the killing and put out a Canada-wide warrant for her arrest. Hailey was located on Monday, June 4, 2018.
