A Hector Avenue home suffered significant damage from fire, smoke and water early Friday morning, July 19, 2019.

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to the single family bungalow around 6:00 am and found smoke coming out of the soffits as they arrived.

An offensive attack was launched on the fire and crews were able to get it under control within a half hour.

No one was found inside the home and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
