Man wanted for home invasion and weapons charges

Winnipeg Police are looking for a 36-year-old male wanted in connection to a December 8, 2018 home invasion on Sinclair Street.

Police say that the suspect forced his way into a residence and pointed a firearm at two adult females. He threatened both victims before leaving.

Investigators say that Roy Christopher Brandson from Winnipeg is wanted for his alleged involvement. A Warrant has been issued for:

  • Break Enter & Theft – Dwelling House
  • Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm (x2)
  • Pointing a Firearm (x2)
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Use of Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence
  • Careless Use of Firearm
  • Possession of a Weapon
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle

Police think he may be in Winnipeg, Lundar or Eriksdale and that he is armed and shold not be approached.

Brandson is described as a Caucasian male in appearance, approximately 5’’10” ” in height, 160 lbs with a medium build, brown hair and brown eyes.

He may be in possession of a white 2002 Ford F250 extended-cab truck with a licence plate of FSY839.

Anyone with information on Brandson’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
