Home Invasion on Emerson Avenue: Police Seek Public’s Help

In the early hours of the morning of September 20, 2024, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a distress call reporting a home invasion in the one hundred block of Emerson Avenue.

Two young males, aged 19 and 20, were inside the residence when two unknown male suspects forcibly entered the home. During the invasion, one of the residents was assaulted, and the suspects made off with stolen property. The suspects fled the scene, heading down Henderson Highway. At this time, their descriptions remain unavailable.

The injured male was promptly transported to the hospital, where he received treatment and is currently in stable condition.

The Major Crimes Unit has taken charge of the investigation and is urging anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
