Stolen hockey sticks

 

 

 

 

Winnipeg Police report hockey sticks intended for a memorial to Cooper Nemeth were stolen.

It happened on December 28, 2016 around 5:00pm in the 600 block of Bonner Avenue. Someone entered the garage of the home and took approximately 20 hockey sticks, most of which were broken.

The sticks had been collected by the residents from family and friends on behalf of Cooper Nemeth in order to be turned into a memorial for the murdered teen. Two of the stolen sticks are irreplaceable, as they belonged to Cooper and his father.
   
Police continue to investigate.
