STARS Air Ambulance was called to the scene of a woman hit by a boat on Nutimik Lake on Saturday evening.
The 24-year-old woman was tubing on the lake around 6 pm. She fell off and was then hit by another boat and seriously injured. She is now in stable condition.
The boat that struck her did not stop. Police are investigating the incident and are asking anyone who was on the lake at the time to contact police.
Nutimik Lake is located in the Whitehall, northeast of Winnipeg.
