RCMP are looking for anyone who may have been driving on Highway 10 near Wanless on the night of December 22, 2022, and witnessed an attack on a Saskatchewan man.
Police say that a 49-year-old man had been driving southbound about 50 kilometres north of The Pas when a vehicle came up from behind and crashed into his vehicle several times forcing him off the road and into a ditch. As the man tried to climb out of the ditch he was confronted by at least two suspects who assaulted and stabbed him multiple times.
The victim was taken to hospital in serious condition but has now been released.
Police do not have a description of the assailants or the other vehicle involved.
RCMP say that they do not believe that the attack was random.
