RCMP are investigating a collision on Highway 12 just north of Anola on Tuesday afternoon, May 21, 2019 that claimed the life of one driver.
Police say a pickup truck was travelling north when it slammed into the back of a stopped garbage truck that was collecting trash.
The 19-year-old driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. The 70-year-old driver and 24-year-old passenger of the garbage truck were not injured in the collision.
RCMP have not released the name of the deceased.
