On Friday, July 24, 2020, the City of Winnipeg reported that they were not able to fog for adult nuisance mosquitoes on Thursday in any of the scheduled zones due to high winds.
Crews will attempt to fog beginning tonight at 9:30 pm in the same areas that were scheduled for Thursday.
Those areas were:
Insect Management Areas 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, and 51.

Public announcements will be published at least eight hours prior to the beginning of fogging each day and list the areas scheduled to be covered depending on the weather.
Residents can apply for a 90 metre buffer zone around their property by contacting 311 for more information.
The city says that a good way to help eliminate mosquitoes is to remove standing water on your property.
Dump any containers containing standing water, ensure your evestroughing is drained, rain water collection containers should be covered.
It is also a good idea to fill low-lying areas that collect water .
