High wind warning issued for south shores of Lakes Manitoba and Winnipeg

The provincial Hydrologic Forecast Centre has issued a high wind warning that may develop overnight Wednesday and continue until Thursday morning.

Th south basin of Lake Manitoba an the shorelines of Lake Winnipeg from Gimli to Victoria Beach could see high wind effects that could increase water levels by as much as or mare than five feet.

Winds are expected to gust up to 70 km/h.

The province advises property owners to take precautions.
