Early Wednesday July 5, 2017 Brandon Police were involved in a high-speed pursuit of a stolen 2007 Nissan Pathfinder.
The driver of the vehicle had left the vehicle unlocked with the keys in the ignition as they went into a nearby store on Willowdale Crescent just after 2:30 am.
Police found the SUV on 1st Street North and tried to get it to stop. The stolen Nissan took off with officers in pursuit. The SUV travelled southbound on 1st Street then west onto Richmond Avenue in the eastbound lanes.
Officers called off the pursuit after speeds exceeded 130 km/h.
The vehicle was last seen travelling north on 13th Street.
Officers are looking for the 2007 grey Nissan Pathfinder with Manitoba license plate HMJ 604 and the driver who is described as male, caucasian, wearing a baseball cap.
