Police say that earlier today, December 1, 2022, a high-risk sexual offender, expected to live in Winnipeg, was released from Bowden Institution in Alberta.
Garry Edwards jr. (AKA- Brendin Edwards, Gary Tait, Garry Crasswell, Garry Crassweller) is 44 and is considered a high-risk to re-offend in a sexual/violent manner.
Edwards has a history of violent sexual offending, according to police. Although he has participated in sexual offender treatment he is still considered a high risk to re-offend. All females, both children and adults, are at risk of sexual violence.
