Man stabbed outside Salvation Army on Henry Street

Winnipeg Police responded with nearly a dozen patrol units after a male in his 20s was stabbed outside the Salvation Army on Henry Street.

Just after 11:00 pm on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 police were flagged down and told about a male suffering from injuries. Upon finding the victim officers immediately began first aid until paramedics arrived and transported the male to hospital where he remains in critical condition.

The victim had suffered significant stab wound injuries according to police.

Winnipeg Police Service Major Crimes Unit is investigating the serious incident and are asking anyone with information about the stabbing to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
