Winnipeg police have arrested and charged a Headingley man for allegedly posting an intimate image online without permission.

Police say they received a complaint in April 2022, about the image that had been posted in 2015.

An investigation found that several nude pics of the person who made the complaint and other unknown women were allegedly posted online by the suspect. Police believe that the images were posted without consent from any of the women.

43-year-old David Alexander Zegarac was charged in May for his alleged involvement with Publication of an Intimate Image Without Consent. He was released on an undertaking with conditions.

Police are continuing to investigate and ask anyone with information that can help officers or who wish to speak to members of the Domestic Violence Unit to call (204) 986-2602
