RCMP have arrested and charged the driver of a vehicle involved in a head-on collision early Sunday morning, August 29, 2021.
According to investigators there were called to the scene of a collision on Highway 59 at Fey Road around 12:50 am.
The investigation determined that a northbound vehicle collided head-on with a southbound pickup truck killing the 86-year-old driver.
The 58-year-old driver of the northbound vehicle and her 65-year-old Mal passenger were both taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police have laid charges against the female driver for Impaired Operation of a Conveyance Causing Death.
She is scheduled to appear in Selkirk Provincial Court in November.
