Vehicles of the future can solve traffic issues

A Russian inventor thinks he may have solved the problem of traffic congestion and he is using gyroscopic vehicles to do it.

Dahir Semonov wants to use his futuristic-looking vehicles to navigate around and over traffic.

The gyroscopic pods would travel on a monorail and would be self-balancing.

Semonov says that the tech is not new but it is time to use it for real life. His hope is that it can be operational by 2020 to move sports fans to major venues around the globe.

But people moving is only one part of what his team of engineers are hoping to achieve. As the technology develops Semonov says it could be used to make emergency vehicles that can weave through congested areas in major cities as well.
