RCMP has charged the temporary guardians in the death of a 3-year-old male.
On August 23, 2018, the child had been brought to the nursing station in Little Grand Rapids. He was unresponsive and later pronounced dead.
An autopsy was performed ans police continued to investigate the incident.
On March 10, 2021, the child’s guardians at the time, 21-year-old Alayna Flett and 24-year-old Houston Bushie were charged for their alleged involvement with Fail to Provide Necessaries of Life.
Both accused were released and are scheduled to appear in court on April 21, 2021.
