Winnipeg Police say that a 27-year-old female teacher is facing nine charges related to the sexual exploitation of three students.
On February 27 the Grant Park High School teacher was charged with Sexual Exploitation, Sexual Assault and Supply Liquor to Minor after multiple alleged incidents involving a 16-year-old student between December 1, 2019 and February 8, 2020.
Officers from the Sex Crimes Unit continued to investigate and were able to identify two additional victims.
On Thursday April 16, 2020 the teacher turned herself in at Winnipeg Police Headquarters. She was arrested and is now charged with three counts of Sexual Assault, two counts of Sexual Exploitation, Sexual Interference and three counts of Luring a Person Under 18 years of age by Means of Telecommunication.
