It was only a matter of time before the unusually low gasoline prices in Winnipeg spiked. Turns out that is happening today across the city.
Some retail outlets like Costco have not raised their price yet and have posted prices of $78.9 per litre for regular unleaded. Other suppliers like Domo, Coop, Petro-Canada, Esso and Shell have boosted their price for regular unleaded to $92.9 per litre.
It is expected that prices won’t stay high for too long as the price of wholesale gas is slowly falling.
