Gas prices are on the rise as speculators expect production cuts due to the wildfires in Alberta. Tuesday morning prices around Winnipeg were sitting at 97.4 per litre on average. Today is a different story. Most stations have increased their price by 8.5 per litre with a pump price of $1.059 for regular.

If you drive a vehicle that guzzles premium the price at the pump may shock you. Some stations in the city are selling a litre of premium gasoline a $1.279.
