Manitoba Hydro is on scene working to repair a gas leak in the Fort Richmond Area of Winnipeg.
Just after 9:45 Wednesday Morning, August 22, 2018, a construction crew doing excavation work near Radcliffe Road and Vasser Road hit a gas line.
Officials say that 25 homes were evacuated as a precaution
Manitoba Hydro says that the gas is venting into the atmosphere and that no gas has made its way into area basements or sewers.
