The City of Winnipeg says that due to the Christmas and New Years holidays regular garbage and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day
The Water and Waste department is advising Winnipegers to put out their bins the day after their regular pickup day for the next two weeks.
So, for example, if your regular day is Monday you would put out your bin on Tuesday over the holidays.
Regular collection will resume on Monday, January 8, 2018.
Christmas tree recycling depots will also open on December 27, 2017 until January 31, 2018.
Trees left at the curb or by your recycle bins will not be picked up.
