Winnipeg firefighters spent nearly two hours battling a fire that began in a detached garage in the 600 block of Spence Street.
When crews arrived on the scene shortly after 3:30 pm on Monday. October 30, 2023, they found the garage well-involved and the flames spreading to an adjacent house and second garage. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control at 5:21 pm.
On injuries were reported and everyone in the house were able to get out safely.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
