Winnipeg Police are investigating a homicide after a 50-year-old male died after being stabbed early Saturday morning, August 5, 2023.

Police were called to the 200 block of Furby Street around 3:20 am and located the victim in the rear lane. Officers provided emergency medical care until paramedics arrived. He was taken to hospital in critical condition where he soon died from his injuries.

The suspect left the area before police arrived on the scene.
