Around 8:45 pm on Monday, July 18, 2022, police received a call from a person who spotted a recently stolen vehicle that belonged to a friend of theirs in the area of Portage Avenue and Cavalier Drive.

Air-1 headed to the area and quickly began tracking the vehicle that was driving erratically in the west end of the city.

Officers on the ground moved in to contain the vehicle and were eventually able to ge it to stop. The occupants fled the vehicle and went into a residence in the 1800 block of William Avenue. Officers surrounded the home and the two suspects were taken into custody. A replica 9mm handgun was seized.

27-year-old Rainey Dellis Baker and 24-year-old Faith Campbell have been charged for their alleged involvement and detained in custody.
