Between Friday June 9 and Sunday June 11 access to Manitoba Provincial Parks is free. Vehicle permits won’t be required but fees for camping still apply in provincial park campgrounds.

If you love fishing you won’t need a fishing licence this weekend across the province but all other fishing requirements and limits apply. A federal fishing licence licence will still be required in national parks.

“Summer is almost here and we know Manitobans treasure these warm, late spring weekends. Throughout this weekend, residents and visitors will be able to fish for free while also enjoying free access to our beautiful provincial parks,” said Nesbitt. “This extra day creates another opportunity for more Manitobans to get hooked on fishing.”
