Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) says a Winnipeg man has been charged with fraud after it was learned that he had been operating as an immigration consultant without a license.
In 2012 the CBSA was tipped off that Hae Suk Yoon was allegedly acting as a paid immigration consultant and was instructing foreign nationals on how to misrepresent themselves to immigration officials.
Yoon has been charged with five offences under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and one under the Criminal Code for offences that occurred between 2009 and 2014. He will appear in court at the end of October.
