Winnipeg Police have charged a man after he allegedly committed four robberies within 90 minutes on Saturday, December 2, 2017.
Cory Roger Legault from Winnipeg has been charged with Robbery x 4 and Wearing a Disguise with Intent to Commit a Crime
Police say it all began around 9:20 am when a male suspect concealed his face and went into a financial institution in the 1500 block of Regent Avenue West. Once inside he demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money

Fifteen minutes later the suspect tried to rob a restaurant also in the 1500 block of Regent Avenue West. This time though he received nothing.
The suspect then moved onto a liquor store five minutes later also in the 1500 block of Regent Avenue West. Once again he attempted to rob the business but again received nothing.
Just under an hour later the suspect tried to rob a store across town in the 400 block of William Steet. For the third time he came up empty and was not successful in his robbery attempt.
At 10:45 am officers caught up with Legault ending the mini crime spree.
During the course of the robberies, a member of the K-9 Unit was involved in tracking the suspect when the vehicle he was driving was struck by another vehicle at the intersection of William Avenue and Harriet Street. The officer was taken to hospital with minor injuries, treated and released. His partner, a service dog, was not injured in the collision.
Legault was detained in custody.
