Four victims sprayed with “Bear Spray” by angry suspect

Brandon Police are investigating a case where four people were assaulted with “Bear Spray” early Sunday morning, June 2, 2019.

Police say that just after 2:30 am a male looking for alcohol got angry after he was told there was no booze at that location. The suspect pulled out a can of pepper spray and attacked four people inside the business by spraying it at them.

Police are looking for an Indigenous male who had fled the scene before they arrived. The can of “Bear Spray” was located at the scene.

One of the victims was taken to hospital, treated then released. Three other victims were treated at the scene by paramedics.

Brandon Police are continuing to investigate.
