Four youth and an adult male are facing assault charges after they allegedly attacked three teens and an adult on Monday night, November 14, 2022.

The incident began around 7:15 pm when three 15-year-old victims (two males and a female) were attacked with a machete in the 600 block of Sherbrook Street.

A few minutes later police learned that an adult male was attacked a few blocks away in the 100 block of Juno Street.

The three injured youth and the adult male were taken to hospital in unstable condition but have since been upgraded to stable.

Officers located the five suspects in the Centennial neighbourhood.

18-year-old Creed Ethan William Ballantyne-Hart and four male youth ages 12 to 17 were charged for their alleged involvement with three counts of aggravated assault and assault.

All five suspects were detained in custody.
