Police have arrested two men and two women for a number of violent robberies that took place over the past month.
On the 17th of October, 2017, police say a 26-year-old female was assaulted and robbed in the 1100 block of Logan Avenue. The suspect was able to steal cash from the victim. Although assaulted the victim of the robbery was not seriously hurt.
Less than two days later on October 19, 2017, at around 3:30 am a male suspect broke into a home in the 330 block of Garwood Avenue. The man who lived there was threatened with a knife before the suspect took off.

Just after 2:30 pm on November 13, 2017, a male armed with a gun approached a male who was parking his vehicle in the 800 block of Sherbrook Street. The suspect demanded the vehicle. Unable to drive the vehicle the suspect left the area on foot. The victim was not hurt.
Shortly after trying to carjack the previous victim the suspect confronted another male victim with a firearm and this time was able to steal the victim’s car and flee the area.
The violent incidents continued and on November 20, 2017, two adult females were confronted by two suspects in the first 100 clock of Charles Walk. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and threatened the women and demanding that they hand over the vehicle. The suspects took the vehicle and fled. the victims were not injured.
Police found the stolen vehicle in the 300 block of Redwood Avenue and arrested four adults from the home. Officers seized three loaded firearms at the time of the arrests.
Jessie Gerald Martin-French, 22, faces a total of 47 separate charges relating to firearms offences and robberies. He was detained in custody.
Vincent John Petawanqueb, 31, faces a total of 34 separate charges relating to firearms offences and robberies. He was detained in custody.
Two females also face multiple charges related to firearms and possession of stolen property.
