Winnipeg Police Service investigators have identified the victim in the Fountain Street homicide investigation.
Officers were called to a residence around 3:15 am on Saturday, February 3, 2024, for the report of an unresponsive man.
The man was taken to hospital in critical condition where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim has been identified as 43-year-old Charles Danny Chartrand, of Winnipeg.
Police say that family has been notified and officers continue to investigate.
