The province has called a byelection in the riding of Fort Whyte.
The riding was previously held by former premier Brian Pallister who resigned from the seat on October 4, 2021.
The election will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, with advance voting being held between March 10 and 17.
Elections Manitoba says that besides in-person voting, ballots can also be cast by mail. Registered voters within the riding will receive a voter information card in the mail that will detail their voting location on Election Day.
Eligible voters who do not receive an information card or receive a card with incorrect information can visit www.electionsmanitoba.ca/en/Voting/Register_Of_Voters to register or update information.
