Winnipeg police are investigating the killing of a 42-year-old male at a residence in the 200 block of Forrester Avenue.

Officers were called to the home around 5;30 am on Monday November 29,2021, after receiving a report of gunshots. When police arrived they located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound and began emergency medical care until paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition but has since died from his injuries.

Police have identified the victim as Tyler Patrick Yarema of Winnipeg.
