This is the third fire at this property in the past six months. A major fire occurred in a vacant warehouse on September 28, 2021. The fire resulted in the collapse of the building’s roof and rail ties on a nearby train caught fire due to blowing embers. Two firefighters were injured while fighting the blaze. A 21-year-old female was arrested and charged with Arson and Mischief.

Firefighters also responded to a blaze on February 14, 2022. During that fire they had to call in a front-end loader to clear a path so firetrucks could be brought onto the property.

The cause of the fire is under investigation
