Football coach charged in three more sexual assaults

Winnipeg Police have charged 51-year-old Kelsey Albert Dana McKay with an additional eight offences related to sexual assaults that took place while he was a football coach at Churchill High School.

McKay is already facing 14 exploitation and sexual assault-related offences against five former student he coached at Churchill High School and Vincent Massy Collegiate.

Police say that as the investigation unfolded there more adults contacted them and reported similar sexual exploitation and abuse incidents while the accused coached them at Churchill.

On April 27, 2022 McKAy was charged for his alleged involvement in the new cases with three counts of Sexual Assault, three cases of Sexual Exploitation and two cases of luring.
