Winnipeg Police are investigating a homicide that happened on Saturday, July 13, 2019.
Police were called to an apartment in the 600 block of Flora Avenue just before 5:30 pm. When officers arrived they found a male in his 20s suffering from injuries. He was taken to hospital but died soon afterwards.
Investigators have identified the victim as Christopher Helstrom, 27 from Teulon, Manitoba.
Police made an arrest in the case early today, July 15, 2019 but have yet to lay charges.
