Flin Flon armed robbery suspect wanted by RCMP

RCMP haven’t caught the second suspect in an armed robbery of a Manitoba Liquor Mart in Flin Flon on February 11, 2021, but they were able to quickly catch the first suspect.

Police say the pair walked into the Liquor Mart on Hapnot Street just before 6:00 pm and while one of the suspects threatened a female employee with a machete the second acted as a lookout. The pair were trying to get money from the till but were unsuccessful. The pair then grabbed bottles of alcohol and left the sore.

Police say that the pair were wearing “very identifiable” clothing and with help from the Creighton RCMP they found the male who had been brandishing the machete and placed him under arrest.
