Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a serious collision between a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck early Friday morning, February 25, 2022, at Dougald Road and Bournais Drive.
When firefighters arrived on the scene they found five people suffering injuries. One of the victims had to be extricated from a vehicle. They were transported to hospital in unstable condition.
Paramedics also assessed four other people. One was taken to hospital in unstable condition and three others were transported in stable condition.
The cause of the collision is being investigated by Winnipeg Police Service Traffic Division.
