RCMP have one male in custody and are looking for four suspects in connection to an early morning robbery of a 7-Eleven in Portage la Prairie on January 21, 2020.
Police say the five suspects went into the store, discharged a can of bear spray, then stole several items including a bag of chips and a Slurpee.
Images of the suspects show one of the discharging a red can of bear spray into the store.
Police nabbed one of the suspects, a 21-year-old male from Portage la Prairie, nearby. He has been arrested and is facing pending charges for his alleged involvement of Robbery, Administering a Noxious Substance and Fail to Comply.
