First Nation people living on reserve in Manitoba are now eligible to receive a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The province is recommending the additional dose and estimates about 7,200 are eligible. The third dose will be available six months after an individual received the second dose of a vaccine.
The Integrated Vaccine Operations Centre will be reactivated and oversee the rollout of the third dose on 63 reserves.
