Fires Overnight
Fire crews responded to a couple of fires Thursday Morning. At approximately 1am firefighters put out a tow truck fire on Chalmers Avenue in Elmwood. An hour later they responded to a fire on Sherbrook Street where a mattress had been placed in front of the door to a house and set on fire.
Arson has been determined as the cause for the blaze on Sherbrook.
Over the last three nights there have been 22+ fires that the WFPS has had to put out. Many of them suspicious.
