Firefighters spend several hours putting out smoky Talbot Avenue blaze

Fire crews were busy Sunday morning, September 24, 2017, battling a very smoky blaze at Talbot Avenue and Stradacona Street.

Firefighters were called to the scene around 7:20 am after an off-duty firefighter came across the blaze and called it in.

It took crews several hours to battle the smoky blaze in the two-story building in the 300 block of Talbot.

The cause of the fire or an estimate of the damages are not known
