Firefighters respond to vehicle fires and a collision overnight

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to several incidents overnight involving vehicles.

Vehicle Fire

Crews were called to the first 100 block of Bannerman Avenue around 10:15 pm on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, for the report of a vehicle fire.

When firefighters arrived on the scene the vehicle was fully involved.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Collision

Around 11:50 pm emergency crews were called to the intersection of Stafford Street and Grosvenor Avenue for the report of a single vehicle collision.

As crews arrived on scene they found a vehicle had driven through the front of the Grove restaurant causing significant damage to the building.

Vehicle Fire

Firefighter responded to a vehicle fire on Watt Street near Talbot Avenue at 1:30 am Wednesday, December 29, 2021 for the report of a vehicle fire.

Crews were able to quickly get the fire under control. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
