Firefighters were called to the scene of a fire in a vacant two-storey, multi-family residence in the 300 block of Selkirk Avenue around 5:30 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2022
As emergency crews arrived they found smoke coming from the structure and launched an offensive attack. The fire was declared under control at 6: 34 pm.
A search of the building found no one inside.
One firefighter was assessed by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital in stable condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
