Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service was called out to two structure fires on Wednesday evening, August 11, 2021.

Speers Road

Just after 7:00 pm crews responded to a fire in a three-storey industrial building in the first 100 block of Speers Road.

Firefighters found a small fire in a machine hopper and were able to quickly knock it down. The building’s sprinkler system had also activated which helped keep the fire from spreading.

Everyone inside the building were able together out safely before fire crews arrived on the scene.
